Billet Aluminium Alternator Pulley I MINI R52/R53 Cooper S/JCW/GP

The G54 Standard Size Alternator Pulley is designed for MINI R52 and R53 Cooper S and JCW owners who want to retain the original alternator drive ratio while replacing or visually upgrading the factory pulley. Maintaining the standard diameter preserves the intended alternator speed relationship, making this version suitable for standard engines and modified cars where no alternator speed reduction is required.

Alternator speed correction using a larger pulley diameter is advised and applicable once a reduced size supercharger pulley is installed. 

Machined from 6082 grade aluminium billet, the pulley is produced with close control of the belt grooves, bore and mounting faces. Correct concentricity is important for belt stability and bearing life, particularly in the compact R53 accessory drive where several components share the same belt path. The billet construction gives the pulley a clean, precise appearance and avoids the rough finish often associated with basic pressed components.

An anodised surface helps protect the aluminium from corrosion and contamination and is available in a selection of colours. The result is a functional replacement that respects the original drive ratio while adding the visual quality expected from a considered G54 engine bay package.
