Evolution Line Stainless Steel I BMW M240i F22 / F23

The Akrapovič Evolution Line Exhaust is a premium performance upgrade for the BMW M240i F22 and F23, designed to improve exhaust flow, increase power and torque, reduce restriction and give the car a deeper, more engaging exhaust note.

The system is manufactured from high quality austenitic stainless steel, providing the heat resistance, durability and corrosion protection required from a premium performance exhaust while allowing the pipework to be formed and fabricated with exceptional precision

The system combines Akrapovič’s renowned craftsmanship with a layout developed specifically around the M240i platform. The fit is precise, the finish is exceptional and the complete system has been designed to sit cleanly beneath the car while complementing the original rear styling.

The Evolution Line replaces the standard single centre pipe arrangement with two central link pipes, creating a more efficient exhaust path and improving the flow of gases through the system. This freer flowing design helps support increases in both power and torque, making it a worthwhile upgrade for owners looking to improve the performance as well as the character of their M240i.

Sound is controlled through a dual mode ECU operated valve system. Under normal driving conditions, the exhaust remains refined and suitable for road use, while higher engine speeds bring out a deeper, stronger and more sporting exhaust note. The change in valve position allows the system to deliver a broader range of sound without compromising everyday usability.

The visual finish is completed with handcrafted carbon fibre tailpipes, adding a distinctive premium appearance to the rear of the car. The carbon fibre detailing works particularly well with the M240i’s performance styling and gives the exhaust a finish that feels appropriate for a high end upgrade.

The system is EC compliant in its approved configuration and has been designed for straightforward installation.

It is important to note that this exhaust does not fit vehicles equipped with OPF. It is suitable for both rear wheel drive and xDrive versions of the BMW M240i.
