Evolution Line Exhaust I BMW M4 F82 / F83 - GPF Variants

Developed specifically for later 2018 - 2020 BMW M4 F82 and F83 models fitted with the factory petrol particulate filters, this Akrapovič titanium link pipe set is a focused circuit use upgrade designed to reduce restriction, remove unnecessary weight and release more of the S55 engine’s performance and sound.

The standard GPF equipped exhaust places additional restriction within the system and adds considerable weight beneath the car. By replacing this section with lightweight, free flowing titanium pipework, the Akrapovič system removes the factory GPFs and creates a far more direct exhaust path.

The result is reduced back pressure, lower exhaust system weight and improved potential for power and torque, particularly when combined with supporting engine calibration and other performance modifications. For track focused cars, the removal of the GPF section also helps simplify the exhaust system and reduce mass in an area where weight saving is particularly valuable.

Lightweight Titanium Construction

The system is manufactured entirely from titanium, giving it an exceptional strength to weight ratio while providing the durability required for repeated high temperature circuit use.

More Performance, Less Weight

Removing the factory GPF assemblies reduces one of the more restrictive sections of the later 2018 - 2020 F82/F83 exhaust system.

The freer flowing titanium construction allows exhaust gases to move more efficiently through the system, helping support improved engine performance while also delivering a worthwhile reduction in overall exhaust weight.

For vehicles already being prepared for circuit use, where weight reduction and exhaust flow are priorities, this makes the titanium GPF delete section a logical addition to the wider exhaust package.

Increased Exhaust Sound

With the particulate filters removed, exhaust volume and character are increased considerably.

The S55 engine is allowed to produce a more direct, aggressive and mechanical exhaust note, giving the car a much stronger presence under load and at higher engine speeds. The increase in sound is particularly noticeable on circuit, where the reduced restriction allows more of the engine and turbocharger character to come through the exhaust.

Developed for Later GPF Equipped Cars

This version is intended specifically for later F82/F83 M4 models fitted from the factory with GPFs.

It is therefore particularly important to identify the exhaust configuration of the vehicle before ordering, as earlier non GPF cars use a different exhaust layout.

This product is designed for circuit and motorsport use only and is not intended for public road use where removal of the factory particulate filters would affect emissions compliance.
