Billet 17% Reduced Supercharger Pulley I MINI R52/R53 Cooper S/JCW/GP

The G54 Reduced Supercharger Pulley is a focused performance upgrade for supercharged MINI R52 and R53 Cooper S, JCW and GP models. By reducing the pulley diameter, the supercharger is driven faster in relation to engine speed, increasing its air delivery and supporting stronger torque and throttle response. Two sizes are available: a 15 percent reduction for a balanced fast road package and a 17 percent reduction for vehicles with the supporting hardware, maintenance condition and calibration required for a more demanding setup.

The pulley is machined from 6082 grade aluminium billet using precision CNC equipment. Accurate control of the belt groove, bore and mounting geometry is essential on a high speed driven component, helping maintain correct belt tracking and concentric rotation. The machined construction also reduces unnecessary rotating mass and gives the pulley a crisp technical finish that is visible within the MINI  engine bay.

A reduced pulley increases supercharger speed, heat generation and load on the belt drive system. It should therefore be installed as part of a considered package that includes the correct belt length, suitable spark plugs, sound cooling performance and an appropriate engine calibration.
