The G54 Billet Aluminium Rear Chassis Brace is designed as a direct replacement for the thin pressed steel rear brace fitted to vehicles based on the Volkswagen Group A5, or PQ35, platform.

Suitable for applicable Audi, CUPRA, SEAT and Volkswagen models, the G54 brace replaces the relatively lightweight original component with a substantially more rigid, precision machined part manufactured from 6082 T6 aluminium billet.

The result is a straightforward chassis upgrade that improves structural rigidity across the rear of the vehicle while combining high strength, low weight, accurate fitment and the distinctive machined finish associated with G54 components.

Replacing the Original Pressed Steel Brace

The factory rear brace performs an important role in connecting the chassis structure, but its thin pressed steel construction is designed around mass production, cost and the requirements of a standard road car.

G54 takes the same mounting position and replaces the original component with a considerably more substantial billet aluminium brace.
